News :Space shuttle Landing 31 July 2009
Space Shuttle Endeavour landing today at Kennedy Space Center, the Space Shuttle for 16 days in space, NASA welcomed Endeavor home Friday. The shuttle touched down at 10:48:08 am. Welcomed home Polansky, Hurley, flight engineer Julie Payette, David Wolf, Christopher Cassidy and Thomas Marshburn were expected to leave the shuttle after doffing their pressure suits for a brief runway inspection, welcomed back by senior NASA managers and engineers.
During the mission the shuttle and station crews installed a porch-like structure used to conduct experiments exposed to the harsh conditions of outer space the third and final major component to Japan's Kibo laboratory.
